Refund Policy

1. Overview

At Jammu Matrimonial, we want you to be satisfied with your membership. Please read this Refund Policy carefully before making a purchase. By completing a payment on our platform, you agree to the terms outlined below.

All membership purchases are processed through Razorpay. Refunds, where applicable, are credited to the original payment method.

2. Refund Eligibility

✓ Eligible for Refund

  • Technical error caused a double payment
  • Payment was deducted but membership was not activated
  • Service significantly differs from description due to a major platform issue

✗ Not Eligible for Refund

  • Change of mind after purchase
  • Found a match and no longer need the service
  • Partial use of the membership period
  • Account suspended due to violation of Terms of Service

3. Refund Timeframe

Important Deadlines

  • Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the purchase date
  • Requests submitted after 7 days will not be considered
  • Verified refunds are processed within 5–7 business days
  • The refund will be credited to the original payment method (UPI, card, net banking, etc.)

4. How to Request a Refund

To initiate a refund request, please send an email with the following details:

Subject line: Refund Request — [Your JM Profile ID]

Include in your email:

  • Your registered email address
  • Date and amount of the payment
  • Invoice number (found in your payment confirmation email)
  • Reason for the refund request

5. Assisted Plan Refunds

For plans that include personal matchmaker services (Sahayak, Vivahik, and Pratishtha plans), the following special conditions apply:

  • Refunds are only available before the first matchmaker session begins
  • Once a matchmaker session has been initiated or scheduled, no refund is applicable
  • Cancellation requested within 48 hours of purchase, before any session: a 50% refund will be processed
  • Cancellation after 48 hours but before first session: case reviewed individually

If you wish to cancel an assisted plan, please contact us at admin@jammumatrimonial.com immediately. Delays in notification may affect refund eligibility.

6. Technical Issues & Platform Downtime

  • If the Jammu Matrimonial platform is unavailable for more than 48 consecutive hours due to technical issues on our end, a pro-rated refund for the affected period will be offered
  • Planned maintenance windows notified in advance do not qualify for refunds
  • If you experience a technical issue during payment, please contact us immediately with a screenshot or transaction ID

7. GST on Refunds

All membership prices on Jammu Matrimonial are inclusive of 18% GST as required by Indian tax regulations.

  • Where a refund is approved, the base amount (excluding GST) will be refunded
  • The GST component (18%) may not be refundable as per Indian GST law
  • We will provide a revised invoice or credit note where applicable
