Terms of Service

These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Jammu Matrimonial, governed by the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

To use Jammu Matrimonial, you must meet the following criteria:

• Be 18 years of age or older
• Be unmarried, divorced, or widowed and legally eligible to marry under Indian law
• Be a genuine individual seeking matrimony — not a company, organization, or agent
• Maintain only one account per person
• Provide accurate, truthful, and current information about yourself

We reserve the right to verify your eligibility and terminate accounts that do not meet these criteria without prior notice.

• You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• Keep your password secure and do not share it with anyone
• Notify us immediately at admin@jammumatrimonial.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account
• You are responsible for all activity conducted under your account

Your profile must adhere to the following standards:

• Photos must be recent, clear, and show your face — no group photos as the primary image
• No fake, misleading, or inappropriate content in any profile field
• Do not upload photos belonging to third parties without their explicit consent
• All profile information (education, profession, family details) must be accurate and truthful
• Our admin team reviews all submitted photos and reserves the right to reject inappropriate content

The following activities are strictly prohibited on our platform:

• Creating fake, duplicate, or impersonation profiles
• Harassment, abuse, or sending inappropriate messages to other members
• Sharing contact details of other members without their explicit consent
• Commercial solicitation, spam, or advertising to other members
• Engaging in fraudulent or scamming activity
• Using the platform for purposes other than matrimony (e.g., dating, business networking)
• Violating any applicable Indian laws or regulations
• Attempting to reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the platform

Violations will result in immediate account suspension or permanent termination.

• A free membership with limited features is available to all registered users
• Premium membership plans are available as listed on our /plans page
• All payments are processed securely through Razorpay
• All displayed prices are inclusive of applicable GST (18%)
• Membership subscriptions are non-transferable and linked to your account only
• Please review our Refund Policy before making a purchase

• Jammu Matrimonial owns all platform content, design, code, trademarks, and branding
• You retain ownership of photos and personal content you upload to your profile
• By uploading content, you grant Jammu Matrimonial a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display your content to other registered members on the platform
• This license ends when you delete the content or close your account

• Personal matchmaker availability is subject to business hours (Monday–Saturday, 10 AM – 6 PM IST)
• Video call sessions are scheduled by mutual agreement between the matchmaker and member
• Matchmaker recommendations are professional suggestions, not legally binding guarantees
• Assisted plan features are as described on the plans page at time of purchase

• You may delete your account at any time from your account settings
• We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate accounts that violate these Terms
• Termination due to policy violations does not entitle the user to a refund
• Upon termination, your profile will be removed and data deleted within 30 days (payment records retained as required by law)

• These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of India
• Any disputes arising from use of the platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Jammu, Jammu & Kashmir
• We encourage resolving disputes through good-faith negotiation first
• If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through arbitration as per the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to registered users via email at least 7 days before they take effect. Minor changes may be made without prior notice.

Continued use of Jammu Matrimonial after updated terms are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms of Service.
